Gendai (French cuisine)

We offer authentic French cuisine in courses.

You can choose from meat or fish for main dish.

Please enjoy “Gendai” of historic Okushiga Kogen Hotel to your heart’s content.

Kunenbo (Japanese cuisine)

Enjoy Japanese cuisine made with local and seasonal ingredients.

Upgraded menus such as shabu-shabu and lava grill are also available.

TEPPAN Shirakaba (Teppan-yaki)

At the chef’s table, which is limited to 5 people, you can enjoy not only taste of food, but also the sounds and scents of the cooking.

Reservation required 3 days in advance.

Regular course fee:¥14,850

Upgrade fee of 6,050 yen would be required for customers on two meals incl. plan. OR

Customers on half-board plans will also be charged an upgrade fee of 6,050 yen.

Raclette (Cheese dishes)

Enjoy “Raclette,” a winter specialty cheese dish from mountainous Europe.

(Available only in winter.)

Reservation required by 12:00 noon on the day.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the restaurant hall. We offer Japanese and Western food including local vegetables in a buffet style. We also offer special orange juice that is freshly squeezed on the spot and sparkling wine. Start your day in a quiet and comfortable space.

Depending on the accommodation situation, the buffet could change to offer as a set menu.

Lunch

We offer Japanese and Western lunch menus at the “Gendai” 3rd floor dining room located at the back of the lounge. Please enjoy delicious dishes such as “Today’s Pizza” recommended by the French restaurant “Gendai”, the original menu “Okushiga Burger”, and “Tempura Soba” with Shinshu soba and tempura recommended by the Japanese restaurant “Kunenbo”.

Lounge & Bar

An elegant moment created by a fireplace

Enjoy delicious drinks such as wine and cocktails after skiing in winter, after trekking in summer, or after dinner. Enjoy pleasant conversations and elegant moments surrounded by the long-loved fireplace. In summer, terrace seating is also open, so you can share a seat with your dog.
